What's usually stopping people
Age
At 7 or at 57 — there's no wrong age to sit down at a drum kit for the first time. I've taught children from age 5 and adults who started in their 50s. Both groups progress — just at different paces and with different goals.
Experience
"I've never played anything" is the most common thing I hear on a first lesson. That's not a barrier — it's the normal starting point. Every method I use is tailored for beginners.
Equipment
You don't need a drum kit to start. The first lessons rely on you alone — your hands, your feet, your rhythm. If you want to practise at home, a practice pad and a pair of sticks are all you need.
Lesson format
One student. One lesson. Every time. No groups, no shared time. 100% of each lesson is focused entirely on you — your goals and your pace.

Nikolay Chompalov
Drummer and music educator from Sofia with over 10 years of stage experience. A BIMM Dublin graduate, he has been teaching drums since 2022 to students of all ages and levels.

A regular lesson is €20 for a full hour. I'm working on prepaid bundle packages — those aren't available yet, but I'll let existing students know first when they are.
